Founded in 2010, by Christina Smyth, Great Blessings has set out to provide families in Northern Colorado with the best birth experience possible according to the desires and wishes of the family.
Great Blessings also provides Postpartum Doula care to those families who wish to have an extra hand as they adjust to the new addition or additions to the family.
Founded on these principles: a woman's body has the amazing ability to bring forth human life through the joining of two microscopic cells; her body and her baby have the innate intelligence to labor, deliver and feed without interference; with support and encouragement she is capable of achieving the most empowering experience of her life; childbirth is just the beginning to the life long journey of raising children and EVERY family deserves the best start possible.
Childbirth and child rearing is an amazing experience that one should not be afraid of, but rather, embraced. It is truly a gift!
